Favorite Brownies

A late night chocolate craving made me bake brownies at midnight a couple of days ago. They turned out to be so delicious that I suffered a bit from an overdose. If you are smarter than me, store some brownies in a box. I am still snacking from them and the more time passes, the better they get.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 120 g butter
  • Milk
  • 40 g walnuts (roughly chopped)
  • 100 g dark chocolate couverture (roughly chopped)
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • Salt (pinch)
  • 200 g sugar
  • 50 g cocoa powder

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Melt the butter in a pot and let it cool. Next, beat the eggs and add the butter, flour, baking powder, a pinch of salt, brown sugar, chopped nuts and chopped dark couverture. Sprinkle the cocoa powder and mix all ingredients. Meanwhile, add enough milk so that the dough can be stirred with the mixer, but the consistency should be more sticky than a regular dough. Pour the mixture on a baking tray covered with baking paper and leave it in the oven for about 30 minutes. When the time has passed, let the mass cool and cut it into squares. You can sprinkle some icing sugar on top as decoration.

– Enjoy.
