When you bake, sometimes things go well, sometimes things go wrong. Today was a good day, I made banana muffins and they turned out so delicious that I have to share the recipe. It is a light and healthy sweet snack that does not contain too much sugar. The fine sweetness of the bananas is very subtle, which I love. The muffins are juicy and very soft on the inside. Plus the recipe is super easy and

  • 120 g butter
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar
  • 1 package vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 mashed bananas
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk



Stir the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until foamy. Add the eggs, mashed bananas and cinnamon. In a separate bowl, mix the flour with baking soda & baking powder, then add the buttermilk. Combine both mixtures into one bowl and stir well. Fill the dough into 12 muffin cups. If you want, you decorate the tops with banana slices. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees and bake the muffins for 20-25 minutes until golden yellow. I hope you enjoy these scrumptious banana muffins as much as I do.
