Summer is almost here. I am looking forward to so many things and two of them are certainly warm days and eating as much strawberries as I can. This year, I started the strawberry summer season with a huge bowl of homemade strawberry yoghurt. I can warmly recommend to make your own fruit yoghurt, it is quickly done, you can choose the ingredients and leave away unnecessary artificial additives. I did my very best today with eating as much strawberries as I could, now I am only waiting for the summer to arrive.
- Natural yoghurt
- Greek yoghurt
- Maple syrup
- Homemade granola with cranberries
- White chocolate chunks
- Goji berries
- Coconut flakes
For the strawberry yoghurt, blend strawberries in a mixer with a splash of maple syrup. Next, stir it together with natural yoghurt and creamy Greek yoghurt. As a topping, I added some homemade granola, you can find a basic recipe here – this time I used crisp oats, coconut flakes and cranberries. Decorate the bowl with lots of strawberries, white chocolate chunks and Goji berries. As a finish, you can sprinkle the yoghurt with some coconut flakes.
