This healthy chocolate bowl is a scrumptious way for a healthy kickstart. Bananas, carob powder (a less sweet version of cacao), coconut flakes, nuts and puffed amaranth will bring you energy for the day – and certainly a good mood!
Ingredients
- Ice Cubes
- 2 tbsp. chocolate powder
- 1 tbsp. carob powder
- 2 bananas
- Some milk
- Some water
Toppings:
- Bananas
- Coconut flakes
- Nuts
- Puffed Amaranth
- Homemade Crunch (Recipe from the blog)
- Chocolate chunks
Instructions
Blend all ingredients to a smooth chocolate mixture. Use carob and cacao in the relation of 2:1. Carob is a less sweet version of cacao with twice the amount of calcium and therefore a great alternative for chocolate. Decorate the bowl with chopped bananas, coconut flakes, nuts, amaranth, crunch and chocolate chunks. The bowl is perfect for a scrumptious breakfast or a reenergize during the day!
