FALL is one of the most beautiful and atmospheric seasons of the year. Pumpkin Spice scent, cozy sweaters and spooky Halloween nights – There are plenty of reasons to look forward to the upcoming months and to finally get rid of our summer melancholy.
“Trick or Treat?” it is that spooky time of the year again. I can `t wait to carve out a pumpkin, dress up as a monster and to attend Halloween parties incognito – You are NEVER too old for this kind of spook.
Pumpkin Picking is one of the fun rituals of Halloween. I am not sure if I love pumpkins for their color, their taste or because they are not around all year. Pumpkin soup, pumpkin cake or chutney – There are too many delicious things that can be made out of this round friend.
On November 24th it is finally family Turkey Time again. As usual, everyone will need a couple of days to recover from the incurred Thanksgiving Food Coma – but it `s just too delicious.
When the days are getting colder, we can finally heat up the oven and baking is fun again. Apple Pies, Pecan Pies, Pumpkin Pies – I am ready for all of it.

Bundle up with cozy sweaters, scarfs and boots. We all have to admit that we like it (at least a little) when we can change our wardrobe to some new pieces and colors that we haven `t seen for a long time.
In September, it is time to put on a Dirndl or Lederhosen and to celebrate the coolness of Bavarian tradition at the OKTOBERFEST. People from all over the world raise a Maß (the big German 1 liter jugs) and dance at the tables to German songs. At this ecstatic fest – everyone is a Bavarian for 2 weeks.
